Travis Heights Craftsman
Katz Builders constructed this new craftsman home in Travis Heights between 2 enormous oak trees. Many visits from the city inspectors and weeks of excavating with an Air Spade finally let them start building the house between the 2 oldest residents on the property. The results are beautiful..
Westlake Modern Makeover
The fine folks at Hobbs' Ink helped Katz Builders with this beauty in Westlake. The owners wanted the home, which only had a pass-through from the kitchen to the living area, to be open, and thoroughly updated. Oh yeah, they got that! They also added an entire wing onto the end of the house, with two bedrooms, a Jack & Jill bath, and a treetop-viewing playroom cum office.
Equestrian Ranch Update
Katz Builders updated this ranch house west of Austin recently, with design help from Hobbs' Ink. The old plan had a closed off (small) kitchen with a terrible laundry "room" behind it. They gutted and enlarged the kitchen, added a new master suite and a real laundry room, as well as a garage. They also converted the covered porch to a fully screened outdoor living area. See the results here.....
